Creating an Account
Three ways in. They all end up as the same kind of account.
Google or Discord#
Click Sign in with Google or Sign up with Discord and approve the prompt. Your name and avatar come across automatically, and you can change both afterwards.
If you use Discord, linking it also lets tables use Discord voice and lets us hand out Discord roles for badges and supporter status.
Username and password#
On the login page click Create one next to "Don't have an account?". You'll need:
- A username, at least 3 characters. This is what other players see.
- An email address, used to verify the account and for password resets.
- A password, at least 8 characters.
Check your inbox for the verification link. You can't log in until you've clicked it.
Your profile#
Everything lives under Account (the person icon at the top right). From there you can:
- Change your username and profile picture
- Set your country, which shows as a flag on your profile
- Change your password (Discord accounts handle this through Discord)
- Under Privacy: make your profile private, hide your country flag, appear offline, or stop people sending you table invites
- Under Notifications: choose which notifications reach the bell in the header and which are also emailed
Table invites always reach the bell, since that's where you accept them. Email notifications need a verified address, and every email has an unsubscribe link. Emails are only sent when you've been away from the site for a while, and repeats of the same kind are grouped, so a busy forum thread sends one email rather than one per reply.
Staying signed in#
You stay signed in on a device for up to 90 days without having to log in again. Logging out ends that device's session straight away.
Deleting your account#
Danger Zone at the bottom of the Account page. It's permanent and takes your decks and match history with it.
