Blocking Players
If you don't want to play with someone again, block them. A block works both ways, whoever made it, and they aren't told.
How to block#
- On their profile: the Block button, next to Report.
- With a report: Report + block in the report form, which you can reach from a game, from their seat in a lobby, or from their profile.
If a player's profile is hidden, use Report + block from the game or lobby. Guests can't be blocked, and neither can staff.
What a block does#
- Tables: you can't sit at the same table. Tables with the other player seated are hidden from you both, and links and invite codes to them don't work.
- Spectating: neither of you can watch the other's games.
- Chat: their messages are hidden in the lounge and at tables, and yours are hidden from them. Whispers don't go through.
- Friends: any friendship or pending request is removed, and new requests between you go nowhere. Direct messages between you close, and your old messages are kept.
Their profile, the leaderboard and the forum don't change.
If you're already at a table together#
A block never removes anyone by itself.
- In a lobby: you both stay and chat is hidden. If you aren't the host, you get the choice to leave or stay. If you are the host, you can kick them.
- In a game: the game carries on with chat hidden.
The full rules apply once the game ends or one of you leaves, so you can't rejoin together or share a rematch.
Unblocking#
Your list is in Settings under Blocked, and you can also unblock from their profile. Unblocking doesn't bring back a friendship. If the other player has also blocked you, their block still applies.
